Madeline and her G-Daddy
Dad’s hat might be a little too big.
Afternoon nappin’
Now that Madeline is here, I’ve uploaded a few photos of her hospital stay and her first days at home. Check them out on Flickr.
Introducing Madeline Jane McMath. Born January 17th, 2013 at 1:24am, 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 inches.
We were scheduled to head into the hospital for induction on Wednesday evening and while on the way Mary started to have contractions. After several hours of contractions, it became clear that Madeline and Mary were having trouble with each contraction. A little after midnight the doctor came in to tell us it was time for a c-section. In less than an hour we heard the first cries of out little girl. What a joyous sound.
Mary and Madeline recovered beautifully in the hospital and were able to head home in 4 short days. Now at home we are able to settle down and introduce Madeline to our little home.
Mary and I feel so blessed to have such a healthy, beautiful little girl. Neither of us were expecting to have such an immediate emotional connection with her. We absolutely adore her.
Be prepared for a lot more pictures to come.
Totally digging the new seats at Phips AMC! Though I didn’t really care for the fact that we were the first people at the theater and had to sit on the second row because of assigned seating.
I think he changed his number.
