Has the economy affected you this Christmas season? (via caseyliss)
You’ve heard me talk about Foursquare before, but last night Mary and I had a pretty cool encounter that we otherwise wouldn’t have had.
Mary and I went to see “Blind Side” last night at Phipps Plaza. We both checked in to foursquare saying we were there, and one of our friends, Allison, text us to say that she was there too! By us being friends with her boyfriend, he got our foursquare check in to the movie theater and the four of us were able to watch the movie together. Turned into a little impromptu double date. Pretty cool.

Too cool of a picture not to reblog
Awesome, Dave Ramsey Show is using my buddy Felipe’s site TwtPoll.com!
update: he just mentioned it on the air!
We got our family Christmas tree today, and for the first time in recent memory, it wasn’t cold or rainy when we decided to pick one out. In fact it was a sunny pleasant 70 degrees or so. This of course meant that we weren’t in a rush and had time to go to two different places to look at all the trees.
We checked out Home Depot and Lowes, and were surprised at how few trees each of the stores had available. I’m wondering if it’s just too early, or maybe they are cutting cost by not putting out a bunch of trees, or maybe they just think they aren’t going to sell as many trees? I just can’t imagine people deciding that they are going to save money by not getting a Christmas tree. Weird.
Standing in line at Best Buy enjoying the madness that is Black Friday. I drove by here last night at midnight and there were already 30-50 people waiting in line. What a zoo!
