Email!
So one of the adjustments I have been making now that I’m working, is my email. I get it on my iPhone (which I LOVE), but the web interface for my domain has always been horrible. I’ve never worried about it, because I just use a mail client (thunderbird, made by the same folks who make firefox). But now that I’m not carrying my laptop with me to work, and not wanting my work laptop to have all my personal mail on it, I have been struggling with what to do.
I tried just importing my mail into gmail, but that is going slow as christmas and doesn’t provide a speedy enough alternative. Then last night I got the idea, why don’t I just install a different webclient? I gave that a try and installed Roundcube. The install was really easy and the interface is beautiful. I’m loving it!
If you have your own domain and hate your webmail (if you are on 1and1.com you certainly will), then I suggest installing Roundcube!
